Hervier Productions

CHÂTILLON-SUR-INDRE,INDRE FRANCE

Since 1988

The Hervier family began making garments in the early 20th century, in the heart of the indre department, three generations have passed down the company's skills. At one time, hundreds of ateliers were located in the region, today Hervier is one of the last.

When monsieur hervier decided to join his family's company, his young wife left paris to follow him. They bought their own atelier in 1988 in the small town of Châtillon-sur-Indre to specialize in trousers and tailored pieces manufacturing. A staff of fifteen persons in the atelier do the pattern-making, cutting and sewing stages. The fine finishes include keyhole button holes and impeccable piped pockets. Monsieur Hervier keeps an eye on everything.

Time is closely managed under the pressure of orders, but everyone is passionate about his work. The couple hopes that one day their children will take over the atelier. With Hervier, French traditional garment-making has a bright future.
