Tricoterie du Val de Saire

Tricoterie du Val de Saire

VALCANVILLE, BASSE-NORMANDIE FRANCE

Since 1979

In the 1960s, Monsieur and Madame Hyver, who were manufacturers for big Parisian retailers, create their first company manufacturing knit sweaters and jackets. In 1979, they decide to leave Paris to go back to their family roots and use their knowhow to create the Tricoterie du Val de Saire in Valcanville, a little village in the Cotentin, Normandy. Known for its craftsmanship and the quality of its atelier, the company continues to develop itself and famous fashion houses come to ask them to produce for them. In 1992, Christine, Jean-Luc, and Laurence, the three children of Monsieur and Madame Hyver, join the company. A nice family story that develops a knitting knowhow dear to Normandy.
