Description | Originally worn by Breton fishermen and sailors, the vareuse has become a classic French summer vacation jacket. The collar button was traditionnally placed inside, in order to avoid fishing nets getting caught into it. It stands as a casual alternative to an overshirt. Made in a refined linen and cotton striped fabric.
