The Pecora Nera® wool is the result of 20 years of experience in black Merino sheep farming by a New Zealand breeder. He set out to restore the pedigree of this unique breed which offers a luminous, resistant and natural fabric, from light brown to deep dark. The breeder chooses his sheep wisely, and only crossbreeds the ones that have specific hereditary characteristics. The challenge is to produce the finest quality wool by using a mulesing free sheep farm. The Pecora Nera® fabrics are well-known for their strength and lightness, adapting perfectly to the changing seasons.
