Inspiration
Our Edition 21 presents an effortlessly elegant soft tailoring wardrobe for Fall Winter 2023, inspired by the landscapes of Brittany and the “Côte de Granit Rose”, blending the minerality and timelessness of granite with the softness of pink-tinged rocks, and echoing our approach to mixing the rustic and the luxurious.
Some highlights are a cardigan coat made of an Austrian wool fabric from a heritage loden mill, a functional and comfortable zipped 1930s-inspired mechanician blouson in boiled wool and our iconic and elegant grandad coat in an array of heritage woolen fabrics.
We are also introducing an exclusive collaboration with Gloverall, playing on the heritage of local wools both in Scotland and France. The historic Monty duffle-coat is reinterpreted with an undyed Scottish local wool from Lovat Mills, as well as a Noire du Velay wool from Auvergne, woven in Mazamet by local mill Le Passe-Trame.
A touch of fun comes with our paneled pieces like the fun corduroy shirts, or the paneled wide wale corduroy suit. A selection of colorful plaid flannel shirts completes this tenth anniversary De Bonne Facture wardrobe.
