The choice of fabric is essential to the quality and fit of any garment.
Our wardrobe is exclusively made of natural fabrics, like cotton, linen, wool and leather. We do our best not to feed the petrochemical industry that is at the source of synthetic and artificial fibers.
We work with wool for knitwear, tailoring or outerwear, in different varieties like merino wool, shetland wool, alpaca… they come from a selection of weavers and spinners from France, England, Italy or Peru.
An essential fiber in the menswear wardrobe, be it in shirting, jersey, or trousers, we work with a selection of Japanese, English, French, and Swiss spinning and weaving mills. Every time we can, we select cottons from organic agriculture, especially GOTS certified, and we request information about the provenance of the plant.
We use leather in some of our jackets and coats and in some of our accessories. We chose to work with quality leathers that acquire beautiful patina with time. Our main tannery is Spanish and it is certified for its environmental commitment.
Linen is a thermoregulating fiber that is traditionally associated to summer clothing but is also surprisingly good to wear in fall and winter. We favour suppliers that source their linen from France and Belgium, a historic area for its cultivation.
