De Bonne Facture presents Camargue, an exclusive winter 2023 capsule available at select retailers worldwide. Inspired by this historic region south of Arles, cradle of “gardian” original bull-boys, salt, and rice, Camargue offers a warm wardrobe that explores regional essentials and highlights local know-how.
We are introducing our collaboration with the heritage weaving mill Brun de Vian Tiran in L’Isle sur la Sorgue, and their iconic rustic “drap damier”, which has traditionally been used on horse saddles, made with unchanged methods from over 200 years ago, and has dressed fishermen or workers in Marseille.
The capsule revisits this folkloric touch to create a casual and modern wardrobe inspired by this ancestral heritage.
