It is composed of 70% virgin wool from Australia, renowned for its softness and fineness, 15% alpaca from Peru, providing warmth and lightness, and 15% mohair wool from Cape Town, South Africa, which adds a subtle sheen and an elegant drape.
These carefully selected raw materials are dyed, spun, and woven directly at our partner atelier in Prato, Italy, one of the historic regions of the Italian textile industry.
The finishing process is meticulous: the fabric is first fulled to give it density, then brushed to bring out the pile, before being brushed again to align the fibers. The result is a supple, warm fabric with a downy brushed appearance, a nod to the elegant style of Parisian older gentlemen.
