We are proud to present Sonsie Tweed, skillfully woven by Lovat Mills, a renowned Scottish heritage mill, located on the banks of the river Teviot, in the Scottish Borders town of Hawick. This exceptional fabric is crafted from the undyed wool of local Shetland sheep, in an authentic shepherd's tartan pattern.

Sonsie Tweed's story begins with the rich history of Scottish textile craftsmanship. Lovat Mills, steeped in tradition, meticulously weaves this wool into a fabric that embodies warmth, durability, and style.

At De Bonne Facture, we are introducing a heavy version of the tweed, exclusively woven for our collaboration with Gloverall, and an original Sonsie Tweed for our Two-Pocket Overshirt, which is also available in ou essential Cap.
